Merkur Gaming, part of the German-based Gauselmann Group, is responsible for the production, development and sales of gaming machines, primarily casino slot cabinets.

Through this partnership, Reel Games will market and distribute Merkur Gaming machines across the Central America and Caribbean regions.

Tomás Mieles, Business Development Manager Casino Spain & Coordinator Sales LatAm at Merkur Gaming, said: “With Reel Games, we have gained a strong and reliable partner in whose expertise we trust to further expand our presence in Central America and the Caribbean.

"While we are already very successful in this region, we expect the collaboration with Reel Games to further significantly increase demand for our products.”

Reel Games is a large distributor of casino games in the US. It specialises in slot machines and tournaments, progressive jackpot systems and multiplayer roulette terminals.

The partnership enables Reel Games to manufacture Merkur Gaming products that have been specifically designed for the Central American and Caribbean markets. They will also be licensed to deal with the after-sales services of these machines.

Reel Games, based in Florida, is currently licensed in over fifty US jurisdictions, allowing it to purchase and sell machines and equipment across America.

Reel Games is also responsible for selling, installing and supporting gaming machines used on several Cruise Lines.

Sean Smith, President and Founder of Reel Games, said: “We appreciate the trust Merkur Gaming has placed in us and look forward to a close and successful collaboration.

"We are proud to be offered the opportunity to further strengthen and expand Merkur Gaming’s diverse offering in Central America.”
