Mr Green will be able to offer localised sports betting and online casino products to customers in Germany after obtaining its official licence for the country earlier this year.

The launch will also signify the first time Mr Green has been available through the 888 proprietary technology platform.

Amit Berkovich, VP Head of Poker and Managing Director ROW, said: "Mr Green will be the Group’s spearhead brand in the German market, alongside our 888 brands.

“Its launch is a great example of what focus, collaboration and dedication can deliver.

“We’ve been live since late March, thanks to the existing 888 platform in Germany and the powerful collaboration of all teams across the business who have enabled a totally new set-up in record time."

Earlier this month, Mr Green’s sister company, William Hill, was forced to pay a historic £19.2m ($23.7m) amount, for widespread social responsibility and anti-money-laundering failures.

In the same investigation, Mr Green was asked to pay a £3m penalty for not having effective procedures aimed at preventing harm and money laundering.

Berkovich continued: "We are excited to introduce thousands more players in the market to our enhanced offer, and look forward to bringing other Mr Green markets onto our single technology platform in the coming months."

Expanding in Germany is part of 888’s market growth strategy and Mr Green has ensured any products it launches in the country will be subject to local regulations.
