During Sportradar’s annual general meeting in Switzerland, both Rajani Ramanathan and William Kurtz are being considered by the Board.

The pair have worked across multiple fields during their careers, with Ramanathan serving as a member of the Board of the ESI Group, which deals with prototype software and solutions services. Between 2000-2014, she additionally served as the COO and EVP of Salesforce.

Meanwhile, Kurtz has been a CFO for over 30 years and sits on the Board of multiple companies, including Aterian Inc, as well as being the interim CEO of Ripcord, Inc. If Kurtz is elected to the Board, it is anticipated he’ll become the Chair of the Audit Committee.

The move comes after Charles (Chuck) Robel announced that he will step down from the Board and not seek re-election at the up-and-coming general meeting.

Jeffery Yabuki, Chairman of the Board of Directors, said: “On behalf of the entire Board of Directors, we thank Chuck Robel for his outstanding service to Sportradar. His contributions have been meaningful, significant, and greatly appreciated. We know Chuck will remain a friend and supporter of Sportradar.

“I’m excited about the prospect of both Rajani Ramanathan and William Kurtz joining the Sportradar board at this important time. Their highly relevant experiences – both individually and collectively – will deliver valuable perspective as Sportradar continues its rapid growth trajectory in this incredibly exciting space.”
