Spintec and Merkur Gaming have installed several electronic table games in a recently opened Merkur-operated casino in Monheim. With 510 different machines and a floor area of 4,300 square metres, this casino is the biggest in Germany.
The installation, the largest Spintec installation in Europe, consists of 44 new play stations situated in an arena.
It features a two-floor "Experience Arena" concept where visitors can play a variety of games from their own play stations. The games, which include live blackjack, automated roulette and live roulette, can all be played simultaneously or interchangeably.
Furthermore, the scale of the installation justifies the use of two automated wheels in addition to a live blackjack table. Its height adjustability is an additional feature for the live dealer. High rollers can play roulette on up to three live wheels and two automated wheels at once with the installation, which also has live dealer interaction.
Athanasios “Sakis” Isaakidis, Chief Executive International at Merkur Gaming, said: “Our cooperation with Spintec is growing year by year and we are very happy that we were able to implement an installation as important and as groundbreaking as the one in Monheim.”
Goran Sovilj, Global Sales Director at Spintec, said: “We are extremely happy with our partnership with Merkur who are constantly proving to be at the forefront of the casino business in Europe.
"Our joint installations in Germany are already showing great performance and yielding very promising results. Our market share in Germany has increased to 7% in the last year alone and we could not be more pleased with this result.”
Merkur Casino was recently fined €45,000 ($49,500) by the Dutch Gaming Authority, Kansspelautoriteit (KSA), for failing to comply with the regulations under the Central Register of Exclusion of Games of Chance (Cruks).
