Lottomatica has launched Stats Perform’s Instant Highlights and Smart Stats Overlays™ features for tennis matches, through brands Goldbet and Better.

Paolo Manzo, Sportsbook Director Betting & Digital Italy Lottomatica, said: “The next generation of live streaming has arrived on the Goldbet.it and Better.it sportsbook.

“We focus relentlessly on enhancing the customer experience and Instant Highlights and Smart Stats Overlays™ from Stats Perform are powerful tools helping us make every live sports stream more entertaining and more valuable for our customers.

“We’re proud to be the first sportsbook in the world to offer highlights and overlays for tennis live streams – a really important sport for our customers.”

Italian customers have previously been able to utilise the features on live football streams, giving them the opportunity to rewatch key match events.

Andrew Ashenden, Stats Perform’s Chief Betting Officer, said: “The growth in bettor entertainment and user retention from Instant Highlights and Smart Stats Overlays™ is what the sports betting industry has long needed from the live streaming experience.

“We are proud to share a joint vision with Lottomatica on the role these features have on making sports betting more entertaining.”

The live-streaming coverage for tennis will include Wimbledon, the Australian Open and the Women’s Tennis Association (WTA).

Vincenzo Zeppillo, Director of Betting, Southern Europe at Stats Perform, said: “We’re delighted to help Lottomatica be the first to bring such a high level of sports entertainment to their tennis customers and confident Instant Highlights and Smart Stats Overlays will be a huge success, as they are for football”.

This announcement comes a few after Lottomatica announced the price of its public shares.
