Codere Online appoints Michal Elimelech to Board of Directors
She has an extensive experience of 15+ years in the gaming sector and has held important VP positions.
Operator Codere Online has announced that Michal Elimelech has been appointed as a new member of the Board of Directors at the Annual General Meeting (AGM) held at the company’s registered office.
Oscar Iglesias will be replaced by Elimelech as one of the four directors selected by Codere Newco S.A.
Patrick Ramsey, Chairman of the Board of Directors, said: “The approval of all AGM resolutions by shareholders underscores their confidence in Codere Online’s strategic direction and prospects. On behalf of the Board, I want to express our gratitude to shareholders for their continued support and participation in shaping the company’s journey.”
Elimelech, a senior executive with extensive experience in the gaming sector, has more than 15 years of experience at 888 Holdings, where she has held important VP positions like Head of US Marketing, Head of Bingo and Head of Developed Markets EMEA, where she had full P&L responsibility for all of Europe, including Germany, the UK and Scandinavian markets.
She most recently worked as the CMO of Space Ape Games and the COO of Passiflora.
Ramsey added: “We are thrilled to have Michal join our Board. Her experience in digital marketing and expanding businesses into new markets is a perfect fit for Codere Online as it continues to pursue its growth plans in Spain and Latin America.”
Additionally, the Compliance Committee was established as a formal board committee (previously an advisory one), among other changes that were approved during the meeting. Borja Fernández was appointed as Chairman of the Audit Committee (previously a non-voting observer), replacing Dr. Martin M. Werner, who will continue to be a member of said committee.
