G2E Asia returns to Macau alongside the first Asian IR Expo

Following a couple of Special Editions of the event in Singapore (in 2022 and in May this year), G2E Asia returned to its original home – Macau. This time, however, the event is held alongside the first Asian IR Expo and Summit which will explore sustainable development paths for the tourism industry in Asia-Pacific.

From July 11-13, 2023, industry leaders from across the gaming, travel, integrated resorts and hotel industry in Asia are gathering at the Venetian Macao to foster collaborations for mutual growth and success.

The three-day event includes an exhibition which focuses on non-gaming offerings, and two conferences – the G2E Asia conference and the Asian IR Summit programme. Visitors can enjoy content on themed travel, technology, esports and sports, art, wellness, and entertainment.

During Day 1 of the event, Dr Wilfred Wong, President of Sands China delivered the keynote speech while other industry executives – Chen Si, COO of Inspire Entertainment Resort; Ed Bowers, President of Global Development at MGM Resorts International; Hubert Wang, President & COO of MGM China, and David Sisk, COO – Macau Resorts at Melco Resorts & Entertainment, discussed future trends and challenges for IRs and casino development.

On Day 2 visitors can look forward to the International Association of Gaming Advisors (IAGA) Best Practices Institute sessions which will focus on what gaming companies need to know, in order to stay ahead of compliance, licensing, regulatory, operational and other issues.

Another highlight of the event will be on Day 3, 13 July, when PAGCOR’s Chairman and CEO, Alejandro Tengco will deliver a keynote speech.

Various networking events are also happening throughout the three days, offering a more focused setting for key stakeholders to connect.

G2E Asia’s organisers, RX Global and the American Gaming Association (AGA), have already confirmed that the event will return next year. The time and place, however, are yet to be revealed.
