Aruze Gaming Global has recently welcomed Betty Zhao as its new SVP of International Operations.
Zhao, previously the COO at LT Game since 2007, was tasked with strategic visioning and operational efforts to promote LT Game's growth as a gaming supplier in Macau.
Kelcey Allison, Global COO at Aruze, stated: "We are thrilled to welcome Betty. Her proven track record and history of accomplishments will play a pivotal role in executing Aruze Gaming Global’s International strategic plan."
Zhou also commented on the news of her appointment, stating: "I am truly honoured to be part of Aruze Gaming Global. It is an exhilarating time in the gaming industry and I look forward to contributing to the team that will shape its future worldwide."
In July 2023, Play Synergy, an Empire Technological Group Company, announced the acquisition of Aruze Gaming America's slot operations, covering both land-based assets and online gaming.
The recent acquisition by Play Synergy follows Aruze Gaming's previous financial restructuring project, involving a Chapter 11 bankruptcy filing earlier in the year.
Yugo Kinoshita, Global CEO of Aruze, clarified that the restructuring was a critical business strategy necessary due to external factors, claiming it as a means to maintain the overall health of the business.
In January 2023, Aruze Gaming inked a deal with BetMGM, rolling out four new slot titles on BetMGM’s platform in New Jersey.
