Operator BetMGM has revealed its collaboration with gaming provider Score Gaming to unveil Double-Up Blackjack exclusively on BetMGM Casino and Borgata Online in New Jersey.

This newly introduced blackjack variant, Double-Up Blackjack, differentiates from the traditional blackjack experience by allowing players to double their wager on any 2-card hand, except for a natural blackjack. Players can place an additional wager of any amount, up to the original wager, under this game's rules.

The game revolves around Score Gaming's proprietary End 16 Rule, ensuring players can win but never lose when the dealer holds a 16. Additionally, it introduces the 16 Bonus side bet, offering payouts of up to 500x based on the number of cards it takes the dealer to total 16.

Oliver Bartlett, VP of Gaming Product at BetMGM, stated: "Double-Up Blackjack offers a twist on the classic game and adds another layer of excitement for players. Double-Up Blackjack further strengthens the variety of our table game offerings that feature in-house produced titles from Entain, as well as great partners like Score Gaming."

BetMGM recently partnered with Relax Gaming, gaining a transactional waiver to offer games to BetMGM customers in New Jersey.

Moreover, BetMGM recently ventured into New Mexico, inaugurating a retail sportsbook at Isleta Resort & Casino in Albuquerque. This expansion marks the operator's entry into its 28th market.
