Relax Gaming to launch in New Jersey with BetMGM partnership
The iGaming supplier has gained a transactional waiver in New Jersey, partnering with BetMGM for its US debut.
Relax Gaming has partnered with BetMGM as part of its US launch, coming to the state of New Jersey after securing a vendor transactional waiver. The iGaming aggregator and supplier will now be able to offer games to customers of BetMGM, with the partnership being the first step in the company’s planned US expansion.
In New Jersey, the company will operate under its US brand name RLX Gaming.
The company has made comments that it intended to launch in the US, with CPO Shelley Hannah commenting as such in the November/December issue of Gaming America.
“We’ve made no secret that the US market has been hot on our radar for some time. … As to our plans, we will be operating as a direct point of supply for licensed land-based operators and their online partners in the states, offering them new and exciting games designed specifically for their players,” she said.
It is not the company’s first step into North America, having launched in Ontario, Canada in April of last year. In the same interview, Hannah described: “Ontario has been a fantastic market for us in North America and has given us the perfect opportunity to find our feet in the region.”
On this latest launch, Relax Gaming CEO Simon Hammon said: “Launching in New Jersey is a landmark moment for our company. BetMGM’s ethos perfectly aligns with our vision and we expect our partnership to truly flourish.”
Relax Gaming’s portfolio currently consists of over 4,000 online casino games. One of its products, Dream Drop Jackpots, won Product Launch of the Year at the Global Gaming Awards London 2023.
