Konami Gaming has welcomed Stephanie Lau as the VP of Sales Enablement & Gaming Operations.

Lau has a background spanning over two decades in casino operations, finance and analytics.

Having served in key capacities at industry operators such as Station Casinos and MGM Resorts International since 2005, Lau's experience covers diverse sectors, including tribal and commercial, local and resort destinations.

In her position at Konami, she will lead the company’s business operations, sales operations and data analytics divisions.

Jay Bertsch, SVP and CCO at Konami Gaming, said: “With nearly 20 years of distinguished experience in the gaming industry, Stephanie is bringing an important operator focus and data-driven approach to this key appointment.

"She has demonstrated an ability to drive exceptional results through gaming analytics, market strategy, product positioning and customer engagement, which we look forward to sharing with the valued casinos we serve.”

This announcement arrives after Konami Gaming's recent appointment of Eric Schultz as the VP of Studio Operations. Schultz, with a background spanning over 20 years in gaming, is entrusted with overseeing game development encompassing software, art, sound design, math design and project management.

Konami Gaming has been aiming to fortify its game development operations, as seen in the recent promotions of Josh Faish and Justin Torres to Directors of Sales, focusing on customer relations and professional development.

Additionally, Caroline Byne, Jeff Fuller and Rick Tribble were elevated to Director of Business Development roles, concentrating on growth strategies in key markets.

The company has also been attempting to expand its global reach through partnerships and projects. In November 2023, Konami Gaming entered an exclusive distribution deal with Bravery Gaming, broadening the availability of its titles in Georgia's regulated, non-casino markets.

Furthermore, a partnership with Caesars Sportsbook & Casino facilitated the integration of the entire Konami online gaming collection into real-money websites operated by Caesars Digital, reaching players in jurisdictions including New Jersey, Michigan, Pennsylvania and Ontario.
