An exclusive contract between Scientific Games and Loterija Slovenije (Slovenia’s National Lottery) has been signed, extending the pair’s continuous instant game partnership.
In the wake of 26% growth in Loterija Slovenije’s instant game sales reported over the last four years, the organisation has signed a five-year partnership agreement with Scientific Games – which is subject to a potential further two-year extension.
After initially entering a partnership six years ago, Scientific Games has provided Loterija Slovenije with instant game design and management services, licensed brand services data and retailer analytics, as well as sales support and manufacturing. The pair’s most recent collaboration was a higher price point game that featured an Advent calendar and €10 ($10.72) extended play game.
Loterija Slovenije CEO and President, Romana Girandon, said: “The move to this new partnership with Scientific Games heralds further progress for our Srecka games portfolio. The enhanced partnership aligns our goals to responsibly grow these products and ultimately, grow proceeds to our good case programs.”
Last week, Scientific Games also extended its partnership agreement with the Polish National Lottery.
Speaking on this latest Slovenia development, VP of Global Strategic Accounts for Scientific Games, Kevin Anderson, said: “We’re proud to move an enhanced partnership with Loterija Slovenije so that we can fully maximise the potential of its Srecka games. Our expertise with data analytics and portfolio management will help drive sales performance for the games and provide entertaining experiences for Slovenian players.”
The partnership with Loterija Slovenije marks Scientific Games’ fourth European lottery partnership announcement this month, following Poland, WestLotto in Germany and Eesti Loto in Estonia.
