Novomatic files lawsuit against EGT

The lottery solutions company has filed for discontinuance of the further sale of certain slot games offered by Euro Game Technology and is further demanding compensation for damages.

The lawsuit surrounds Novomatic’s view that several games offered by Euro Game Technology “systematically and unfairly use essential elements (including the reel strips) of well-established Novomatic games”.

These similarities are seen in games such as “Ultimate Hot”, “Olympus Glory” and “Lucky Hot”. Similar legal actions are being prepared in other countries.
