Zitro has announced the establishment of several new departments aimed at promoting sustainability and corporate responsibility.

This move includes the formation of an Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) Corporate Committee, an Environment, Health and Safety (EHS) department and a dedicated Integrated Management Systems (IMS) department. These specialised teams will spearhead Zitro’s transformation towards a more sustainable business model.

The ESG Committee will reportedly be responsible for integrating sustainability practices across Zitro’s operations, focusing on environmental responsibility, social impact and ethical governance. The EHS department will oversee environmental, health and safety concerns.

To support these initiatives, Zitro’s IMS department has established four new sub-departments: the ISO Standards Management Office (IMO), the Climate Change Office (CCO), the Project Management Office (PMO) and the Jira Customisation Office (JCO).

The ISO Standards Management Office (IMO) aims to ensure that all ESG actions are certified and aligned with relevant ISO standards. This office is responsible for the quality, documentation, maintenance, improvement and coordination of ISO standards throughout the company. It will also conduct internal audits on ISO processes and manage external ISO audits.

In March 2024, Zitro Digital, the company’s online gaming division, received approval from Peru’s Ministry of Foreign Trade and Tourism (MINCETUR) to operate as a licensed online slot supplier.

This expansion allows Peruvian players to access Zitro’s games, such as Epic Kingdom, Mighty Hammer, Bashiba Link, 88 Link, Link King and Link Me through licensed online casinos.

Zitro has also increased its presence in Latin America by signing a deal with PlayCity Casino, launching its first Wide Area Progressive in Panama and installing over 100 machines at Grupo Caliente.
