Malaysia-based RGB not affected by POGO ban

RGB says it does not sell machines to POGOs, only to licensed casinos and PAGCOR-licensed operators.

Malaysia-based RGB not affected by POGO ban

Malaysia-based gaming machine manufacturer RGB has said it will not be affected by the recent POGO ban.

According to Southeast Asian news agencies, RGB has assured its stakeholders and customers that the recent POGO ban in Philippines, announced by its President, will not affect the supplier.

RGB reiterated that “none of its slot machines were sold to POGOs,” adding that its machines in the Philippines are only sold to licensed integrated resorts, casinos and slot club operators under the Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corporation (PAGCOR).

RGB was the second company to come out and reaffirm stakeholders and customers in the aftermath of the complete POGO ban.

Indeed, Philippines-based DigiPlus, a 24/7 online bingo operator and gaming company, announced to the public that its company or services (and online bingo in general) will not be affected by the POGO ban.

The company stated that it is a local operator with an actual location, not a POGO, and added that the company had secured licences from PAGCOR to operate traditional bingo, electronic bingo games, electronic gaming services, sports betting, specialty games and poker.

Now is an opportune time for brands who can continue operating in the Philippines to broadcast that level of security, given the uncertainty facing many of their competitors.
