The Quality Mark Regulatory Assurance (QMRA) initiative, launched in February 2024, has rapidly expanded its presence across European markets, with over 90 affiliates adopting its compliance standards.
Originally an extension of the Dutch Quality Mark KVA, QMRA has gained traction in countries including Denmark, Sweden, Germany, Belgium, Norway and the UK.
Since its launch, QMRA has attracted several affiliates and operators. GiG Media (now Gentoo) was the first to incorporate QMRA as an official policy. This move marks a step in ensuring compliance across Gentoo’s websites operating in regulated markets like Sweden and the UK.
In June 2024, Game Lounge began the application process for QMRA certification in key markets such as the UK, Norway, Denmark and Sweden. Recently, Game Lounge’s SveaCasino.Se website successfully passed QMRA’s compliance checks, becoming one of the latest sites to carry the Quality Mark.
This week, QMRA completed a thorough review of the Aftonbladet Casinoguiden website, which is a platform in the Swedish market. The website, which has a domain authority of 85 and receives approximately 21 million organic searches in Sweden, will now display the QMRA mark, indicating its compliance with stringent advertising and regulatory standards.
