Supplier Ainsworth Game Technology Limited (AGT) has announced its financial report for H1 2024.

AGT reported AU$121.4m (US$82.2m) in revenue for the first half of 2024, a 15% decrease year-on-year.

Underlying EBITDA totalled AU$26.8m, a decline of 8.8%.

Profit before tax showed a 39% decrease at AU$14.3m, while international gaming operations revenue also saw an overall fall, with this year’s revenue at AU$104.7m.

AGT’s Latin America segment saw a decrease both in revenue and segment profit, with AU$29.3m and AU$13.7m for 2024 respectively3.

While its Asia Pacific segment saw a slight rise in segment profit to AU$1.6m from last year’s AU$0.2m loss, its overall revenue was still a slight decrease to AU$19.1m.

In contrast with Latin America, AGT’s North America market saw an increase of segment profit from AU$29.5m in 2023 to AU$32.6m in 2024. Among the factors contributing are the successful launch of A-STARaptorTM and San FaTM titles in multiple jurisdictions across North America, and the expected sales volume due to said launch; as well as continued strong performance in game operations with new installations across properties in Kentucky, Alabama and Wyoming – according to AGT.
