Betr has launched a new feature called "Group Mode" for its fantasy sports platform, Betr Picks.
Simultaneously, the company has initiated the soft launch of its new Betr Sportsbook. These developments are timed to coincide with the start of the NFL season.
"Group Mode" allows users of Betr Picks to compete against each other in a peer-to-peer format. Currently, Betr Picks is live in Florida and Massachusetts, with plans to expand to additional states, including Virginia, Arizona, Tennessee, Missouri, Alabama, West Virginia, New Hampshire and Delaware.
Once these expansions are complete, Betr Picks will be available in 33 states and Washington, DC, covering approximately 65% of the US population.
In parallel, the new Betr Sportsbook has been soft-launched in Ohio and Virginia. This platform, built on the Chameleon platform acquired by Betr in May 2023, offers a variety of betting options, including Same Game Parlays, player props, futures and traditional markets like moneyline and point spread.
The sportsbook is expected to expand into Indiana, Maryland, Pennsylvania, Colorado and Kentucky, pending regulatory approvals.
Earlier this year, Betr formed a partnership with Betting Ladies, aimed at increasing female participation in sports betting through educational content and community support.
Betr's expansion efforts also include the launch of Betr Combat, a media vertical focused on combat sports, which was introduced in February 2023.
Additionally, the acquisition of the Chameleon platform from FansUnite Entertainment in May 2023 provided Betr with new capabilities in sports betting and gaming solutions.
