The Malta Gaming Authority (MGA) has released an official notice declaring that it has no affiliation with several online gaming websites.
The announcement, aimed at protecting consumers and maintaining the integrity of Malta's gaming industry, specifically mentions five unauthorised URLs.
These URLs are as follows: www.rayvietnam.net, www.rbvn08.com, www.raybet03.com, www.ray097.com and www.ray40.com
The MGA states that any references to the Authority or claims of gaming licences issued by Malta on these websites are false and misleading.
This declaration serves as a reminder to consumers about the importance of verifying the legitimacy of online gaming platforms before engaging with their services.
The Authority emphasises that authorised entities are required to comply with strict legal requirements designed to protect consumers' interests. Unlicensed entities, by contrast, operate outside of this regulatory framework – potentially exposing users to risks.
To ensure safety and compliance, the MGA advises consumers to only utilise services provided by entities that have been verified and authorised by the Authority.
A full list of legitimate MGA-licensed entities can be found on the MGA website.
In related news, MGA recently introduced a new Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) hub for its licensees. The hub was launched on the MGA website and aims to provide detailed information on ESG reporting for licensees.
