Evolution has successfully obtained a Software Supplier Licence from the Isle of Man. This development allows Evolution to offer its services to operators licensed in the Isle of Man, a jurisdiction that has seen increasing interest from gaming companies in recent years.

The licence was granted with the assistance of eGaming consultancy SolutionsHub, which supported Evolution through the licensing process.

The Isle of Man has become a notable hub for online gaming, attracting a number of software providers due to its regulatory framework.

James O’Kelly, Head of Operations at SolutionsHub, commented: “we’ve seen a significant increase in the number of software providers choosing to licence in the Isle of Man, they recognise the value of demonstrating that they are a trustworthy partner for gaming operators.”

This licensing process involved collaboration with Digital Isle of Man and the Isle of Man Gambling Supervision Commission.

Tara Leneghan, Strategic Partnership Manager at Digital Isle of Man, noted: “We are pleased to have supported Evolution navigate the Isle of Man’s eGaming landscape, alongside SolutionsHub. To have attracted an applicant of this calibre is a true testament to the benefits of licensing in the Isle of Man. Congratulations to the Evolution Group!“

Earlier this year, Evolution announced plans to acquire Galaxy Gaming, a provider of casino table games, in a deal valued at $85m. The acquisition is aimed at strengthening Evolution’s presence in the US market, with the transaction expected to close by mid-2025, pending regulatory approvals.

In addition to its acquisition strategy, Evolution has expanded its operations in the US by launching live casino games in Delaware through a partnership with BetRivers in 2024. The company's recent developments reflect its ongoing efforts to grow its market reach and comply with regulatory standards across various jurisdictions.
