Key points:

- Softswiss launches private Bug Bounty Program with select access to cybersecurity experts

- Financial rewards are provided based on the severity and complexity of vulnerabilities identified

- Initial focus is on two products, with future expansion planned across more platforms

Softswiss has initiated a private Bug Bounty Program during Cybersecurity Awareness Month. This program brings in qualified white-hat hackers and independent security researchers to identify critical vulnerabilities within its software.

Participation is by invitation only, aimed at maintaining high-quality reports that directly address essential security concerns without an influx of irrelevant issues.

The private setup is intended to produce focused, relevant insights while allowing Softswiss to effectively manage the bug reporting process.

Financial rewards are structured according to the complexity and severity of vulnerabilities uncovered, providing incentives that reflect the risks associated with each finding.

This initiative adds a level of independent security assessment, contributing to the broader efforts by Softswiss to secure its client platforms.

The Bug Bounty Program initially applies to two products within the Softswiss portfolio. Testing occurs within a dedicated environment separate from Softswiss’s live gaming systems to avoid disruptions for players.

This independent testing setup reportedly allows for a thorough evaluation of security measures without impacting real-time operations or player experience.

Good to know: Moving forward, Softswiss plans to expand the Bug Bounty Program to encompass additional products and refine the criteria for security assessments, aiming to address evolving cybersecurity needs

This cybersecurity initiative follows recent developments for Softswiss in the iGaming market, including the Q3 2024 performance of its Game Aggregator, which connected with over 1,200 casino brands, marking a 43% increase year-on-year.

With over 23,500 games from 280 providers, the Game Aggregator has become a key asset for the company’s growth. Additionally, the Jackpot Aggregator, another Softswiss product, has seen a 38% rise in bets placed within its Prime Network Jackpot.
