Key points:
- Synot Games has made its official entry into the Bulgarian market
- The supplier has received a ten-year licence from the nation’s regulator
Gaming provider Synot has successfully secured its licence to operate within the Bulgarian market, as the company introduces its gaming portfolio to an additional Eastern European region.
Having received its official ten-year licence for the production and distribution of its gaming portfolio within the Bulgarian market, Synot will now begin to make forays into the landscape. Further, Synot’s newly granted Bulgarian licence also allows for the development of gaming related technical support in the region.
In November 2023, Synot entered into a content distribution partnership which saw Galaxsys’ portfolio of skill games go live via its Synot Interactive platform. This arrangement was then followed up by another partnership, with Gamanza Group, which saw the supplier extend its reach in Europe.
Now, this latest deal seeks to further enhance Synot’s presence in the Balkans, following expansion in the region last month, when the company partnered with Casino Gameworld in Slovakia.
Good to know: In October, the National Revenue Agency cracked down on unlicensed gambling websites in Bulgaria
Stanislav Stanev, International Business Development Director of Synot Group, said: “We are really happy with obtaining the license for the Bulgarian market.
"Like this we can continue with our expansion plans within the Balkan region and make available our most successful products for the Bulgarian customers as well.
“The license is coming just on time for the upcoming BEGE expo in Sofia, where we are expecting to meet most of the local operators and have some fruitful discussions and presentations of our most successful products from both online and land-based divisions.”
