Aposta Ganha has been awarded its licence under the Betting Management System (Sigap) to operate within Brazil’s regulated market.

Operations under the licence are scheduled to begin on 1 January 2025, subject to the Secretariat of Prizes and Betting (SPA) completing its analysis.

Aposta Ganha has been active in the Brazilian market for six years and will now transition into the regulated environment, adhering to the SPA's rules established by the Ministry of Finance.

Good to know: With registration number 0022, the company is among the first platforms to secure approval under the country’s new regulatory framework

Aposta Ganha’s CCO, Hugo Baungartner, said: “We're incredibly proud to announce our successful completion of our federal operating licence application laid out by the Ministry of Finance. The strict security criteria ensure greater consumer protection and market integrity.”

In September 2024, Aposta Ganha adopted Diffusion Cloud, a data management platform designed to handle increasing user loads. This move was part of the company’s preparation to expand its sportsbook offerings and introduce casino services as it adapts to the gaming landscape in Brazil.
