TotoGaming appoints Kamo Mayilyan as Head of Research & Development

TotoGaming has named Kamo Mayilyan as the company’s new Head of Research & Development.

He has worked with the company for three years as its Head of Product Directions Development Unit, with TotoGaming feeling that this has given him the experience to now lead the team through its next phase.

In addition to product development, Mayilyan has over a decade of experience in the financial sector.

He has worked for several Armenian banks before becoming the Deputy CEO at UCO CJSC.

Following this, Mayilyan was the Key Product Owner at Digitain Armenia from December 2021, which saw him develop and implement product strategies consistent with the company’s vision.

Also in December 2021, Mayilyan joined TotoGaming as the Head of Product Directions Development Unit.

TotoGaming is a licensed online and land-based operator headquartered in Yerevan, Armenia.

Good to know: TotoGaming was founded in 2004, months prior to the UEFA Euro 2004 and also operates as the Armenian Nationwide Lottery

On his appointment, Mayilyan said: “Our vision is anchored in five strategic goals that will drive TotoGaming’s evolution and solidify our position as a market leader.

Earlier this year, Armenia proposed a 10% tax hike which would be applied to gambling turnover.
