Nine races will take place on Saturday 25 March, with footage to be beamed to more than 150 territories and available in over one billion homes.

The fixture will be contested by horses from across the globe, with competitors trained in the US, UAE and Hong Kong among those that will take to the Meydan Racecourse.

Adam Binns, Director of Broadcast and Production at Racecourse Media Group, which has also produced the output for Meydan Group LLC, said: “A record number of broadcasters are showing this year’s Dubai World Cup fixture, as befits a significant global sporting event such as this.

“Horses from a dozen countries are set to be represented, along with some of the most famous owners, jockeys, trainers and breeders, in what will be a thrilling spectacle.”
