Betting & Gaming (SB&G) has announced that it is preparing to enter the next phase of its international expansion entitled ‘Sky Bet Deutschland’, and is looking for new talent to join its Munich office.

SB&G CEO Richard Flint stated that the bookmaker was recruiting a number of employees who will be managed by Jochen Weiner, Sky Bet Deutschland Managing Director.

SB&G announced that four Munich-based roles will be available in the marketing and legal teams, nine German-speaking contact centre positions and a possible four new technology roles who will work with the rest of the 50 strong international team in Sheffield.

Flint commented upon the announcement: “We are really excited about the opportunity available within the German market. These new hires will allow us to press ahead with our plans to launch there later this year. The fact that we are in a position to do so, so soon after looking into the market, is a testament to our international team and the positive relationship they have developed with Sky Deutschland.”

Weiner stated: “Since joining I’ve been impressed with the way colleagues have pulled together to get us ready to launch a real money product so quickly. There is clearly a healthy market in Germany and we look forward to entering it soon.”
