Belgium finalises new Gaming Commission members
The selected individuals will begin their six-year terms from 1 September.

A royal decree in Belgium has been enforced as of 1 September 2025, outlining the new composition of the nation’s Gaming Commission.
Set to serve for six years, individuals have been chosen as representatives for ministers of various Government sectors, one French and one Dutch, to account for the languages spoken in the nation.
Nathalie Patouossa and Daisy Vervenne are the respective French and Dutch-speaking representatives for the Minister of Justice; Anne-Laure Mouligneaux and Ignace Vandewalle are the respective French and Dutch-speaking representatives for the Minister of Finance; Michaël Stokard and Sahin Yazici are the respective French and Dutch-speaking representatives for the Minister of Economy.
Meanwhile, Stéphane Obeid and Béatrice Vossen are the respective French and Dutch-speaking representatives for the Minister of the Interior; Ferdinand van der Gracht and Lena Boons are the respective French and Dutch-speaking representatives for the Minister of Health; and Caroline Dujacquier and Tom van Caeckenberghe are the respective French and Dutch-speaking representatives for the Minister responsible for the National Lottery.
Good to know: The Belgian Gaming Commission recently signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Gambling Regulatory Authority of Ireland (GRAI)
Each position also has an alternative individual who may take on the role within the six years.
All representatives and alternates are entitled to a €62 ($72.71) attendance fee for each half-day meeting they attend for the Gaming Commission, and follows a repeal to the old fee rules set in 2023.
The ministers from each represented sector are responsible for implementing the decree.
