Danske Spil has confirmed the appointment of Jeppe Juul Andersen as its new Chief Business Development and Innovation Officer.
Andersen, who officially began this week, announced his first day at the company highlighting both the scale of the business and its organisational culture.
In his new role, Andersen will lead efforts to drive innovation and business development at Denmark’s state-owned lottery and betting operator.
His tasks include exploring new solutions and ensuring the group remains competitive in what he described as an “ever-changing and highly competitive market.”
He also noted that he aims to build the team further and deliver strong commercial results in collaboration with management.

Danske Spil is the national lottery and gambling operator in Denmark, employing around 480 people.
Each year, it contributes more than DKK1bn ($144m) to cultural, sporting and community initiatives across the country.
The operator manages over 20 brands, including well-known digital platforms and emphasises responsible gaming through initiatives to prevent problem gambling, money laundering and match-fixing.
