ne bingo operator Jackpotjoy plc has today announced the appointment of Irina Cornides as CEO of its Jackpotjoy subsidiary.
Cornides, who most recently served as chief revenue officer for Jackpotjoy plc holding company Intertain Bahamas will report directly to the group’s chief executive, Andrew McIver.
In a statement confirming the appointment, McIver said: "We are delighted that Irina has accepted a key role in our operating subsidiary, as she brings a wealth of experience and has demonstrated her ability to successfully grow and maintain our businesses.
Irina has a deep understanding of the Jackpotjoy business and our relationships with Gamesys, who fully support her appointment."
Her principle task will be to run the Jackpotjoy subsidiary following the conclusion of it’s earn out period, instigated as part of the agreed takeover of the brand by Gamesys in April 2015.
Additional tasks will include maintaining the strong relationship between the Jackpotjoy subsidiary and its parent group and helping to decide the company’s strategic direction.
Cornides added: "I am very excited about this role. Although Jackpotjoy is already the leading bingo brand in the UK, we have big plans to further enhance player experience and grow the business. I look forward to working with the team to deliver the next phase of the Jackpotjoy vision."
