188BET remains Wigan Warriors' sponsor

ET has announced it has signed a contract extension to remain as the official Main Sponsor of English Super League club Wigan Warriors for the 2018 season.

The new deal will see the online betting operator’s logo displayed on the front of Wigan’s match and replica shirts for the third consecutive year. 188BET has been Main Sponsor of Wigan Warriors since 2016 having previously worked as a betting partner with the rugby team since 2010.

Wigan Warriors Executive Director Kris Radlinski said: “We are thrilled that 188BET will remain with us next season.

“188BET have built up a great rapport with Wigan fans with a number of initiatives that have proved really popular. They are a forward-thinking group of people who are full of ideas and it has been a pleasure to work with the team there over the last two years.

“The sponsorship landscape is such a competitive market place and over the last 18 months we have adopted a slightly different model whereby we have gone out and listened to our partners about their commercial objectives and then been creative in how we can help each other achieve our goals.

“Many Wigan fans have been encouraging us to re-sign 188BET and that shows their popularity. The engagement levels remain high and they have a great connection with our fans.

188BET has a long tradition of being involved with sports such as rugby, football, cricket and snooker. However, the bookmaker said that this partnership with the current Super League champions is one of its most remarkable sponsorships.
