As part of the deal, Betsson will have complete access to Microgaming’s bingo content, with product rollouts expected in Betsson’s Scandinavian, UK and Spanish brands later this year. More markets will follow in 2019.

Apart from standard bingo games, Betsson’s players will be offered bingo variants, side games and access to progressive jackpot networks.

The Swedish operator will also see its users acquire bingo managed services from Microgaming, as it expands its online offerings in 11 jurisdictions.

Joey Hurtado, Head of Gaming at Betsson, said: "Microgaming boasts one of the most impressive bingo offerings in the industry and a proven track record in delivering high quality gaming products. We’re looking forward to taking our bingo offering to the next level with this deal, which we see as a further step to our commitment to provide the best and most engaging player experience in the industry."

Andrew Clucas, COO at Microgaming, said: "Established over 50 years ago, Betsson Group has incredible pedigree and boasts some of the most popular and trusted brands in the business. We are delighted to welcome the Group in a deal that marks another endorsement of our ever growing bingo brand."
