Acres releases Player Budget tool for casino operators
By Gambling Insider

Acres Manufacturing has introduced a new customer rating system called Player Budget.

This system aims to provide casino operators with insights into individual player spending habits, thereby offering opportunities to optimise marketing strategies and address concerns related to problem gambling.

The Player Budget system aims to allow casino operators to gain a deeper understanding of each player's budget and spending patterns.

By leveraging this data, operators can potentially enhance their direct marketing efforts by prioritising players with higher profit potential.

Moreover, Player Budget offers real-time protections for problem gamblers by identifying concerning behaviour, such as sudden increases in spending limits or session duration.

Noah Acres, an Acres Manufacturing representative, said: "Casinos in the US spend over $25bn each year to market to slot players and until now have only been able to approximate player value using flawed 'Theoretical' ratings systems. Our Player Budget ratings system sets a new standard by identifying precisely how much each player is willing to spend, then recommending to the operator a strategic course of action to maximise the value of every player relationship."

Player Budget operates in conjunction with Acres' proprietary Foundation hardware, which provides real-time performance data from every slot machine in the casino.

By analysing a player's largest in-session loss, Player Budget assigns a personalised spending threshold to guide marketing decisions.

In addition to the announcement of the Player Budget system, Acres Manufacturing has defended against patent infringement claims filed by International Game Technology (IGT) in November 2023.

Furthermore, Acres Manufacturing appointed David Bain as CFO in October 2023, with the aim of maximising profits for customers, partners and stakeholders.
