Acres Technology welcomes David Bain as new CFO

Bain will bring years of experience as a Managing Director of corporate finance at several investment banks to his position at Acres.

Acres Technology, a casino technology and software developer, has appointed David Bain as its Chief Financial Officer (CFO).

Prior to his appointment at Acres, Bain was the Managing Director and Senior Research Analyst at of the financial division at B Riley Securities.

He has also held the Managing Director role at Roth Capital Partners, where he was responsible for all gaming, leisure and lifestyle research, as well as at Sterne Agee and Merriman, Curhan and Ford.

Bain has extensive experience in researching the slot and gambling equipment supply sector.

Bain graduated from Loyola Law School in Los Angeles with a focus on corporate law and a major in finance from his MBA from Pepperdine University.

On his appointment, Bain said: “Acres is again revolutionising the casino industry and I'm excited to join the team to help grow value for all of our stakeholders.

“I have enormous respect for John's vision, passion and execution that has led casino technology innovations for over 50 years."

Bain is an active member of the American Bar Association, Business Law Association and Public Interest Law Association, among others.
