IGT rename Entraction poker network

Developers IGT have used the recent ICE expo in London to showcase their newly rebranded IGT Poker Network.

The network, formerly known as Entraction, was purchased by the manufacturers in March last year for $115m, and the name has now officially been changed to reflect the acquisition.

Executive vice president of IGT Interactive, Gideon Bierer, said: “This was the first show where we were able to demonstrate the full range of products and services which our recent acquisition of Entraction has enabled us to do.”

IGT say they consider their network to be a “serious and competitive alternative” for existing poker operators.
