Throughout the 2014/15 and 2015/2016 seasons, Palace shirts will be emblazoned with the logo of Neteller – the e-money service used by online bookmakers and run by Optimal Payments.

Joel Leonoff, president of Optimal Payments, said: “The Premier League attracts the highest global viewership in international sports, with an estimated global audience of 4.4 billion; this sponsorship signifies an opportunity to support one of the league’s most exciting teams while promoting our innovative payment solutions worldwide.”

The firm said that it hopes the deal will promote brand awareness, brand credibility and improve sign-up rates

Last season Crystal Palace fans were voted best in the country, while manger Tony Pulis was voted Premier League Manager of the Year.

Club chairman Steve Parish said: “We are thrilled to have Neteller on board and really excited at the prospect of working with them on the growth of its online payments business.”
