West Brom agree terms with Bet365 and 666Bet
Premier League side West Bromwich Albion have signed sponsorship deals with bookmakers Bet365 and 666Bet.
The agreement with UK-based Bet365 will run until the end of the 2015/16 season and sees the gaming brand gain “extensive coverage at [home ground] The Hawthorns”.
West Brom’s head of corporate sales Iain Wain said: “Gaining one of the best operators in the field is a coup for the club and is a further indication of the benefits of retaining our position in the Premier League.”
The partnership will see Bet365 become the club’s exclusive gaming partner for the UK and Europe.
The Asian equivalent for the Albion will be 666Bet.
“The signing of 666Bet is a particularly pleasing one as they have chosen us as their first Premier League partner,” said Wain.
The bookmaker, which officially launched on 2 June, already has an endorsement deal with Harry Redknapp and gained attention by offering odds of 1966/1 on England to win the recent World Cup.
