Finnplay announces daily fantasy platform

Finnish i-gaming provider Finnplay has launched a daily pay-to-play fantasy-sports platform called FantasyBet.

Finnplay announces daily fantasy platform

FantasyBet aims to tap into the high growth in live fantasy sports games across Europe ahead of the 2014/15 Premier League football season.

The platform’s flagship feature will be ‘Flash Mode’, whereby players have three minutes to choose and submit a line-up.

Martin Prantner, CEO of Finnplay, said: “We are delighted to be working with FantasyBet. Season-long fantasy football has been popular for a number of years, but short-term fantasy sports and social gaming products that typically last for one match are growing in popularity globally.”

Eirik Bjørklund, CEO of FantasyBet, said: “Our daily live games will offer Fantasy Football managers a different and exciting way to test their selection skills in an innovative social environment.

“Features such as Random Squad lists give each manager a limited selection of players, to really put their skill and knowledge about the English Premier League to the test.”
