NetEnt issued with permanent New Jersey license

The New Jersey Division of Gaming Enforcement (DGE) has granted NetEnt a permanent Casino Service Industry Enterprise license.

Since 2015, NetEnt has been providing games in New Jersey under a transactional waiver from the DGE while its application for a full license was under review.

Earlier this month, NetEnt agreed a deal with Parx Casino to expand in Pennsylvania.

The company also announced it generated $192m in revenue during 2018, a 9% year-on-year rise.

Erik Nyman, Managing Director at NetEnt Americas LLC, said: “We are very pleased to obtain our first permanent online gaming license in the US.

“We have been present in New Jersey since 2015 and have supported the regulator throughout the licensing process.

“The license marks yet another step in our US expansion as we hope to enter additional states if and when they regulate online casino.”
