BGaming secures Romanian market access
BGaming has been granted a Class II licence from the Romanian National Gambling Office.
The company noted the significance of the granting of the licence, which allows BGaming to “boost its international reach and deliver its products to the Romanian market.”
BGaming CEO Marina Ostrovtsova commented: “We’re happy to resume our business in the Romanian market and see great opportunities for growth in the region.
“BGaming’s content matches all the country standards, and we’re delighted to provide high-quality games for local operators and thousands of Romanian players.”
A statement from the group read: “Obtaining the Romanian licence for BGaming means opening access to more than 90 high-quality products, including recent hits such as Wild Cash, Wild Cashx9999, the popular Elvis Frog series, and the Brand Exclusive titles to Romanian operators and thousands of players.”
Earlier in 2022, BGaming announced it had implemented all the necessary technical improvements required by the German market regulator, allowing it to start providing its iGaming content to local operators and partners working with German traffic and operating in the .de national domains.
Last month, the group collaborated with cryptocurrency-focused platform Stake.com on a new game powered by player analytics data; Wild West Bonanza.
The western-themed title is an online slot game that incorporates features based on casino players’ preference data, and has been designed to deliver a personalised experience.
It’s been a busy time for the Romanian market, with Betsoft Gaming launching its slot titles in the country on 888casino at the end of September. This followed PopOk Gaming securing approval from the Romanian National Gambling Office in August.
