SCCG agrees to support Quinault Beach Resort’s sportsbook ambitions
SCCG Management will offer advice and consultancy services to Quinault Beach Resort and Casino under a new agreement.
Both parties have inked a deal that will see SCCG support Quinault’s ambition to introduce a retail sportsbook, as well as mobile wagering and iGaming casino amenities.
The resort is located in Washington State, where sports betting has been legal since March 2020. However, it is tightly controlled.
Washingtonians must visit a tribal casino to place a wager in person or else make a mobile bet while on tribal land.
The Snoqualmie tribe was the first to debut retail sports betting in Washington last year, but since then, several others have followed suit. These include the Stillaguamish, Kalispel, Squaxin Island and Suquamish tribes.
Consequently, the Quinault Indian Nation – a federally recognised Native American tribe and the resort’s namesake – is looking to enter the Evergreen State’s sports betting space.
Quinault Beach Resort and Casino already boasts three restaurants and a so-called “Vegas-style casino” with over 500 slot machines, as well as a poker room and 12 table games.
But the resort has ambitions to expand its offering. To this end, SCCG has agreed to support Quinault’s push for a retail sportsbook, entering an advisory and consultancy agreement.
Elsewhere in the Americas, SCCG Management agreed to support RoninSport in Brazil.
