Malte Hegeler appointed BtoBet VP of Product
BtoBet, a NeoGames subsidiary, has appointed Malte Hegeler as its new Vice President of Product.
With more than 15 years of experience in the sports betting industry, Hegeler joins the sports betting supplier from EveryMatrix, where he served until recently as Interim CEO and Head of Product Development for the group’s sports data platform OddsMatrix.

In his new role at BtoBet, Hegeler will lead the group’s Product team, where he will oversee the product strategy, roadmap and development in a bid to drive the company’s delivery of its sportsbook solution and service offerings to leading bookmakers.

In September 2022, BtoBet published its Industry Report on the US market, with the supplier indicating that the $7.7bn in combined gross revenue generated by the US sports betting and online gaming markets in 2021 could more than triple in three years.
The company noted that the market’s sectors are on pace to reach $24.3bn by 2026, making the US the largest global gaming market, double the size of the UK’s.
