Grid & Abios sign deal to support esports odds across Kambi network

Abios, a Kambi Group subsidiary, has partnered with Grid to use official data from the Grid Data Platform for its esports odds feeds.

The data will mostly be used to power Abios’ odds and widgets, which will be made available to both the company’s current partners and potential new clients.

With the help of Abios, this partnership will enable Grid to provide official game data assets to customer-facing companies across the Kambi partner network, providing the high speed, accuracy and granularity of data required for esports betting products.

Now, Abios will have access to esports games like CS:GO, Dota 2 and Valorant from Grid’s catalogue.

Abios can expand its coverage for premium services including same-game parlays, player propositions and flash betting thanks to access to real-time data.

Oskar Froberg, Founder & CEO of Abios, said: “The best end-user experiences and most competitive products will be built on official data and as such we at Abios and Kambi look forward to building on top of the Grid portfolio.”

Grid platform offers in-house modelling capabilities and integrity services.

Mikael Westerling, Chief Sales Officer at Grid, said: “We are looking forward to injecting official data into the Kambi’s ecosystem and supporting their offering with the Grid’s data feeds, esports-specialised technology and integrity services.

“The value coming from the scale of Kambi’s network, visionary approach and the Abios’ products capabilities have been continuously impressing us at Grid and we are committed to ensuring their products can thrive powered by Grid data.”
