BetMGM and PlayAGS launch exclusive slot game in Michigan
BetMGM launches exclusive online version of Rakin' Bacon Odyssey slot in Michigan, partnering with PlayAGS for land-based and online play.
BetMGM and PlayAGS have announced the release of the Rakin’ Bacon Odyssey slot game in Michigan. The game is available exclusively online via BetMGM and at the MGM Grand Detroit. This launch is part of BetMGM’s strategy to integrate online and land-based casino experiences.
Rakin’ Bacon Odyssey is a new version of the Rakin’ Bacon slot game first released by PlayAGS in 2018. The game features a character named Cornsquealius in an ancient Greek setting. It includes a 3×5 reel that expands to 6×5 during bonus features, offering 7,776 ways to win. Four jackpots can be won both online and at the MGM Grand Detroit.

In August 2023, BetMGM and Borgata Hotel Casino and Spa launched Dual Play Roulette in New Jersey, allowing players to participate in the same game both online and at a physical roulette table.
PlayAGS has also demonstrated growth. In the fourth quarter of 2023, the company reported a 15% year-over-year revenue increase, reaching $94.2m. This marked the 11th consecutive quarter of double-digit revenue growth.
