Ladbrokes has announced the signing of former England cricketer and Strictly Come Dancing winner Darren Gough as its latest brand ambassador.

Gough, widely regarded as one of England’s finest fast bowlers, will provide insight and analysis across multiple sports – including cricket, football, golf and boxing.

As part of the partnership, Gough will contribute exclusive blogs, tournament predictions and social media content for Ladbrokes.

To mark the launch, Gough stars in a 30-second film on Ladbrokes’ social media channels, showcasing his knowledge of cricket, football and ballroom dancing.

Good to know: Gough’s signing coincides with a major year in cricket, featuring the ICC Champions Trophy, the Ashes tour of Australia and the Indian Premier League

Commenting on the new deal, Charlotte Emery, Chief Marketing Officer for Ladbrokes, stated: “Darren Gough is one of the finest cricketers of his generation and is the perfect signing for Ladbrokes.

“He is more than just a cricketer; he’s a sports-loving, rumba-dancing legend, known for his fast pace between the wickets and in the ballroom. We can’t wait to see him put his talents to good use as our new Ladbrokes ambassador.”

Gough himself added: “It’s a really exciting time for cricket fans with a busy year ahead, including the Ashes, the ICC Champions Trophy and the IPL. But I love all sport and I’m looking forward to sharing my insights with Ladbrokes customers during a year of top-class sporting action.”

Gough joins Ladbrokes’ growing team of ambassadors, which also includes leading Jump racehorse trainer Dan Skelton.

This latest deal follows Ladbrokes’ multi-year partnership with Liverpool FC, which grants the bookmaker exclusive content opportunities and branding rights at Anfield.
