BetMakers Technology Group has extended its partnership with UK Tote Group, ensuring its Quantum software remains the core platform for pool wagering operations across British and Irish racecourses.
The agreement, which builds on existing terms, secures BetMakers’ role in managing pool betting infrastructure, including inbound comingling for World Pool events.
The UK Tote, responsible for hosting betting pools across 85 racecourses, will continue using BetMakers’ system to facilitate wagering both on-site and through digital platforms.
The extension is set to support ongoing efforts to expand pool betting access and enhance operational capabilities.
Phill Jones, Chief Product and Technology Officer at UK Tote Group, stated: “The Quantum solution provided by BetMakers plays a critical role in how we host and deliver racing pools wagering across 85 racecourses in the UK and Ireland, both on course and via our Mobile Apps and Website.”
In February 2025, BetMakers announced a partnership with Sportradar and Podium, integrating the Advantage racing wagering solution into Sportradar’s Orako sportsbook. That deal focused on broadening racing content distribution and improving engagement across key betting markets.
BetMakers has also maintained long-term arrangements with SportsBet, supporting its global expansion strategy. The company’s focus has been on using its technology to improve liquidity in racing pools and optimise wagering processes for operators.

Jake Henson, CEO of BetMakers Technology Group, noted: “Our team looks forward to working with the UK Tote Group to grow the reach of UK and Irish racing into new markets while enhancing the wagering experiences of existing partners.”
The UK Tote has positioned itself as a central player in global racing, with its World Pool participation drawing international betting volumes. The extension of its partnership with BetMakers ensures continued access to its pool betting technology as the sector evolves.
