Isle of Man Gambling Supervision Commission appoints new Deputy CEO
New appointment to focus on regulatory oversight and inter-agency coordination.

The Isle of Man Gambling Supervision Commission (GSC) has appointed Nicola Libreri as its new Deputy CEO.
Mrs Libreri holds ICA Diplomas in AML/CFT and Governance, Risk and Compliance and is trained in blockchain analysis. She has previously contributed to regulatory panels, delivered training and taken part in outreach both in the Isle of Man and internationally, including recent work with the Council of Europe in Serbia.
Mark Rutherford, GSC CEO, stated: “Looking forward to Nicola using her AML/CFT knowledge to further advance changes to the GSC’s AML/CFT supervisory framework to meet emerging threats and challenges.”
Nicola Libreri, Isle of Man Gambling Supervision Commission Deputy CEO, added: “I am delighted to be taking up this role. The threat of ML/TF is constantly evolving and we need to keep on top of new and emerging risks.

The appointment follows a recent 94-page United Nations report that highlighted the Isle of Man’s efforts to address transnational organised crime over the past year.
The appointment also comes shortly after Mark Rutherford was named CEO with oversight of the Island’s gambling and medicinal cannabis regulatory frameworks.
