RECENT BALLY'S HISTORY
Also in 2020, Ballys would enter into a partnership with Sinclair Broadcast Group to rebrand the regional Fox Sports Networks. This 10-year deal would see Sinclair acquire a maximum stake of 24.9% in Bally's, in return for the networks rebranded as Bally Sports with further integration of the operators' content onto the platforms.
2021 would be the year of online gaming for Bally's Corporation, with the acquisition of SportsValler, Monkey Knife Fight and Bet.Works.
By July 2021, the company had also acquired the Association of Volleyball Professionals and, in October, the British online software development and gaming business Gamesys Group, for $2.7bn. The company then renamed this to Bally's Interactive International.
Following the purchase of 15 casinos during its five-year term as a physical casino owner and operator, Bally's announced its biggest project to date in May 2022. The Bally's Chicago casino resort is a $1.7bn project that is anticipated to be completed in 2026.

BALLY BRANDS
Bally's Interactive International (formerly known as Gamesys Group) is an online casino that offers primarily slot and bingo products, including Jackpotjoy. As well as two in-house studios, Bally's has also partnered with industry giants such as IGT, NetEnt and Evolution to integrate their titles into the platform.
Bally Bet is an online sportsbook, which is currently live in Arizona, Colorado, Indiana, Iowa and New York.
Bally Casino is another online casino that offers online slots, bingo, table games, poker and live dealer titles.
Bally Sports is a North American sports media rights portfolio, which includes both professional and collegiate leagues.

PRE-BALLY'S HISTORY
Standard General, an American hedge fund headquartered in New York City, became the largest shareholder of Twin River Worldwide Holdings in 2016 and subsequently placed Soo Kim onto the board, through its ownership stake. Kim would later become chairman of Twin Rivers in 2019.
Under Kim's leadership, Twin Rivers completed a reverse merger with Dover Downs Gaming & Entertainment, the parent company of Dover Downs Hotel & Casino. This made Twin River a publicly traded company, which now trades under "BALY" on the New York Stock Exchange.
The name Bally's wouldn't be applied to the company until July 2020, when Twin River acquired the rights to the Bally's Brand for $20m from Caesars Entertainment. The company would officially change its name to Bally's Corporation and close purchasing Bally's Atlantic City on November 2020.
