ComeOn! - ComeOn Group invested strongly in its own proprietary sports betting platform and trading capability which was launched in 2023. In 2024, it made several additions to further enhance the sportsbook player experience with more markets to bet on and more personalisation features. Highlights from H1 2024 (compared to H1 2023) include: 160.5% actives increase, 189% FTDs increase, 130% registrations increase. Moreover, compared to the second half of 2023, in the first half of 2024 the company saw 71% retention of Sportsbook players, 37% turnover increase, 49% GGR increase and 61% NGR increase. 

bet365 – As the first ever sports betting brand to partner with the UEFA Champions League, the last twelve months have been eventful for bet365. The company’s 2023-24 sportsbook revenues surpassed £3bn with the company offering bets on 96 sports, over 8,500 unique competitions and over 1,300,000 individual events in the last 12 months. In-Play was available for 88% of these events and the Live Streaming capability has increased to match these demands, being available for 1,100,000 of these events.

Betway – Betway partnered with leading franchises around the sports world to enhance its audience of potential sports bettors. The operator became the official European Betting Partner of Chelsea FC, the official Betting Partner of Nottingham Forest and formed global partnerships with Bologna FC and Manchester City in 2024 alone. Betway also strengthened its reach in Africa through collaborations with leading industry suppliers and it made its debut in Portugal in January 2024.

Betano – In 2024 alone, Betano announced sponsorship deals with Euro 2024, Copa America 2024, UEFA Europa League and UEFA Conference League. It also became a front-of-shirt partner of Aston Villa and launched in the UK market. In October, it introduced a new immersive way of NBA betting (in partnership with Sportradar), allowing customers to watch and interact with live games as if they were playing a video game. Powered by computer vision and AI technology, the new feature takes real-time data points and turns them into 3D visualisations that are delivered in a hyper-personalised stream, allowing fans to select their viewing angle and enjoy every action from their preferred vantage point.

1xBet – 1xBet is a leading sports betting platform, offering over 1,000 daily events across various sports. Its standout feature is live betting, allowing real-time wagers as events unfold. The platform also runs exciting promotions, offering users chances to win top gadgets and cash prizes. These innovations and offerings have boosted user engagement during major events like Euro 2024, the Champions League, Serie A, and the Africa Cup of Nations. In 2024, 1xBet renewed its partnership with FC Barcelona with the operator continuing to be a Global Partner and Official Betting Partner of the football club for five more seasons.

Betsson – Betsson Group led the EMEA sports betting market with a 17% year-on-year increase in turnover and 13% growth in sportsbook revenue. Key expansions into France, Serbia, and Belgium boosted the company’s regulated market share to 43.6%. Innovative features like Bet Builder and AI-driven personalisation, significantly enhanced engagement, while strategic sponsorships with Inter Milan, Boca Juniors, and Royal Antwerp further amplified the operator’s brand visibility and strengthened customer loyalty.

888Africa – Since its founding in 2022, 888Africa has been expanding, operating the 888bets and BetLion brands across several African countries, including Kenya, Tanzania, Mozambique, Zambia and the Democratic Republic of Congo. The operator is on a mission to bring high-quality, entertaining and unique betting and gaming experiences to players across Africa. In 2024, the 888bets brand debuted in Angola and 888Africa partnered with Portuguese football club SL Benfica to become its official sports betting and gaming partner in Mozambique and Angola.

Betika – Betika is an established sports betting brand with operations across multiple African countries, such as Kenya, Tanzania, Ethiopia, Ghana, Nigeria, Mozambique, Zambia and the Democratic Republic of Congo. In 2024, Betika launched Kiron Interactive’s innovative data-lite platform, Kiron.Lite in Kenya. As a result of the integration, the operator now delivers a personalised betting experience with a variety of popular events scheduled every two minutes, ensuring continuous excitement and engagement for players. Following the launch, Betika’s turnover on virtual products considerably increased in the first four weeks alone.
