Mr Green announces new CEO

Per

MrGreen
Norman has been confirmed as the new CEO of online casino operator Mr Green.

Having been an adviser to the Stockholm-listed operator since 2012, Norman joined Mr Green as a board member in 2014 and will take up his new position following its annual general meeting on 23 April.

His duties in his time with Mr Green so far have related to the firm's Malta subsidiaries and he oversaw the initial public offering process when the company listed on the AktieTorget stock exchange in 2013.

Mr Green chairman of the board Tommy Trollborg said: “With Per Norman as our CEO, we will acquire a leader who knows the company well and can continue to develop the company, while also leveraging Mr Green and Co’s entrepreneurial culture.”

Norman will replace current CEO Mikael Pawlo, whose appointment to the board will be proposed by Mr Green’s nomination committee.

Before moving to Mr Green, Norman served as CEO of satellite operator SES Sirius between 2005 and 2007 before moving on to become CEO of Swedish digital pay-tv operator Boxer TV between 2007 and 2010.

“It is a great honour to be entrusted with the development of Mr Green & Co and our subsidiaries,” Norman said.
