Gaming Realms expects FY 2020 revenue to grow by 62%

Gaming Realms has announced that it expects its revenue for full-year 2020 to reach £11.2m ($15.5m) which would represent a 62% year-on-year rise.

In its interim results for the year ending 31 December, the supplier said its expected 2020 revenue rose from the £10.7m it predicted in December, while it now estimates adjusted EBITDA to reach £3.1m.

The reasons for the higher expectations include a “record” financial month in December which was due to the supplier’s content licensing business after it grew by more than 100% during 2020, launching with 26 new partners including DraftKings and Paddy Power Betfair.

The company has also made a strong start to 2021, after announcing the launch of its Slingo content in Italy, receiving a provisional licence in Michigan and agreeing a three-year direct integration partnership with BetMGM to expand its US presence.

The supplier mentioned that it expects to report its full-year 2020 preliminary results in April.

Gaming Realms chairman Michael Buckley said: "We are delighted with last year’s performance, which illustrates both the popularity of our games and our ability to licence multiple different partners.

“The combination of our excellent games portfolio, our existing distribution agreements with global partners and our strong pipeline of new partnerships, makes us optimistic about the significant opportunities ahead as we focus on our continued expansion and international growth."
